Spend a weekend painting from the live model with award-winning portrait artist Gavin Glakas as he walks you through the process of painting a portrait. Gavin will focus on how to draw accurately to "get a likeness," build 3-dimensional space with light and shadow, develop a sophisticated understanding of color, approach details like hair, eyes, and clothing, and explore some of the more psychological aspects of portraying specific people.
