WEEKEND WORKSHOP: LONG LOOKING
INSTRUCTOR: DUANE KEISER
Duane Keiser leads a small group of students through a unique, two-part workshop that will explore working on a painting over an extended period of time. Through a series of talks and an ongoing exercise, Keiser will explore the experiential nature of painting complex, dynamic subjects over weeks/months/years. This will be the first part of the workshop. The second part will entail each student taking on a months-long painting project to work on at home that will, at a later date, be brought into class for an informal show and critique.
