INSTRUCTOR: GLEN KESSLER
This late afternoon plein air painting workshop provides students the opportunity to paint out-of-doors in the gorgeous Soleado Lavender Farm in Montgomery County’s Ag Reserve. While the lavender will not be at peek season, it will be sporting a lovely purple haze. This class provides students a great opportunity to tune up the plein air skills ahead of Sunday, June 7th’s Painters Compass Paint Out at Soleado. And those traveling with Glen to Provence may enjoy this class as an orientation to painting lavender on site while still ‘on home soil.’
This class will discuss smart strategies for working outdoors including how to compose, how to capture changing light, and how to know when you are done. Beginners as well as veteran artists will find joy and satisfaction working in this lovely locale. Demonstration and individual instruction will guide students through their journeys.
