Artists’ Reception: SUN, JUNE 7th 12-5pm

“CHARM OF KENSINGTON EXHIBITION” JURIED EXHIBITION

On Sunday, June 7th, Kensington will play host to TWO major arts and culture events: The Maryland House & Garden Pilgrimage AND Kensington Open Studios. In conjunction with that, Compass Gallery is hosting a juried exhibition and sale of works taking Kensington subjects as their subject. All artists are encouraged to produce or submit up to three 2-D works of art for submission. Our juror, Jennifer Lynn Beaudet, will select the top 50 pieces for inclusion during this month-long exhibit. Whether you have a previously created work of art or want to make a painting for this show, we can’t wait to see how you interpret the charming town of Kensington.

This exhibition at Compass Gallery will be open from June 1 through 30. A Meet The Artists Reception is scheduled for Sunday, June 7th from 12-5pm in conjunction with both the MHGP and Kensington Open Studio Tour. Food and wine available. Open to the public.
