Being an artist means that you run your own little (hopefully growing) business. Like any business on the rise, you will need a CEO, a CFO, a CTO, PR department, a sales team, and of course a manufacturing plant. These are of course all YOU. But most artists don't address any of the first 5 departments' needs, operating rather as a manufacturing plant only. And like any business that only produced products with no sales team, PR department, or other officials charting the course of this enterprise, they often end up with a warehouse full of unsold goods. Go figure. ;)
